Guy Thomas is the principal stylist at the salon, and has been cutting hair for over 35 years in Midtown. He customizes his services for the busy Midtown professional for whom time is a precious commodity. With many high-powered professional and celebrity clients, Guy recognizes their need for both speed and discretion, without sacrificing the personal touch and pampering necessary. He approaches his work from a spiritual perspective, seeking a rapport with his clients "at a higher level", and views the salon as a refuge from the judgments and gossip inflicted on so many New Yorkers in their every day lives. He's currently collecting his experiences cutting hair into a book titled "Under the Scissors".
Janelle Mercadante is the primary staff stylist at the salon. Janelle has been creatively styling hair since childhood. Now she seeks out the hippest styles for young career professionals in New York and specializes in coloring, highlighting services, and edgier hair cuts. In addition, Janelle is able to cater to clients who seek more classic and refined styles. She has extensive experience styling for groups and events such as wedding parties, music video crews, and others. While serving clients primarily at the salon, Janelle is available for appointments off-location, both in the city and elsewhere.
